Principal's Message

“Trust in the Lord forever. He will protect us”. (Isaiah 26:4). This Bible quote is sure to energize the whole world as it speaks , we are safe in the hands of the Almighty Lord.

My warmest greetings to all my students, teaching and non-teaching staff members, parents , well wishers and supporters ….

It is time to get back to the active school days and embrace the new academic year with raised spirits and enthusiasm after a two year prolonged pandemic situation. The academic year 2020-21 and 2021-22 have ended up, offering the teaching – learning community the new experience of on-line classes through various virtual platforms. Certainly, the quick adaptation to the online era was the best substitute when everything turned out to a standstill. Education was perhaps the only field that continued uninterrupted with the aid of online platforms. Technology , no doubt , has been the greatest boon during those days, making the whole world move ahead on our finger tips.

Now, as we open the doors of this ‘Temple of Learning’ to welcome our students, we are greatly excited to receive them wholeheartedly. Certainly, we are aware of the changes to be adopted and challenges to be confronted with, in the new academic year. As such we are forced to unlearn and re-learn things with a new perspective.

Dear students and parents…, I look forward to this new session with renewed faith and preparation. As the first step, our prime interest would be to bridge the learning gap that has arisen due to the physical closure of the school during the pandemic period. We also would revive, all those fields and realms that Kanikkamatha had been proud of by implementing innovative and constructive ideas and strategies. I must also express that the culture of “Kanikkamatha Academic Excellence” will have no compromise. Curricular and Co-curricular areas would be perfectly blended here at KMC. We take the best possible measures to inculcate strong moral values in our children through academics and extra curricular activities. The Scholastic and Co-Scholastic activities of the school are intended to convert every single individual into a self- reliant independent citizen. We believe firmly that education is an effective medium of social transformation.

As we step into the post- pandemic education era. I would like to appreciate the dedication and hardwork of the teaching and non-teaching staff, who strive for the welfare of this institution. I, wholeheartedly thank the parents and the PTA committee for their timely support and help.

I am much indebted to the tender affection and support of the CMC congregation, esteemed Provincial Superior and council, Manager and all our well-wishers. Adhering to the vision and Mission of our school, we aim towards widening the horizon of knowledge, by empowering and equipping our students to face life with confidence and intelligence.

Before I wind up let me quote from the Holy Bible “Go and do like wise”(Luke 10:37), which says that we are to be the Good Samaritans in our daily activities, upholding the values of fraternity and universal friendship, and this is the theme that we have chosen for the current academic year. With this thought, I extend my hearty welcome to all to the new academic year.

May the Gracious Lord Almighty bless you all abundantly. I wish all, a glorious academic year ahead!
