“This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes” Mat 21:42
Wishing you all a very happy and meaningful academic year 2019-20
This year all our activities will be carefully centered on with the theme of the year 2019-2010 ‘Concern and Commitment’
It is said that; A venture begun should be a venture accomplished. A year has rolled by since I walked through the portals of this Temple of Learning as Principal. I can only thank God for his grace of wisdom and leading.
As we step into the 59th year, we at Kanikkamatha School renew our commitment to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment . Full participation in academic and co-curricular programs and willingness to act responsibly as an individual with in our educational environment are the factors that enable all of us to have a successful and enjoyable year.
Taking hard work and determination as the watchword, in the Public Examination of March 2019, our students secured 78 full a+ in the SSLC, 31 full A+ in Plus Two examinations. Three students from Plus two established their academic excellence by scoring 1200/1200. On behalf of the Management, Parents and students. I appreciate the efforts of the ever co-operative teachers for their support in helping to achieve these results. I also congratulate all our diligent students for their commendable success.
The beginning of the new academic Year is a time of anticipation and spirit of renewed enthusiasm.. We have introduced new divisions for LP I sections. We are indeed blessed with new enthusiastic, articulate and a vociferous advocate of punctuality, our loving manger Rev. Sr. Shalini with additional teacher on board another voyage begins….
Our skilled and devoted staff has already planned and prepared activities to keep the students engaged in the learning process and also to get instant and accurate assessment of learning outcomes.
Our enthusiastic office team, have also been actively involved in registering new families, ordering needy materials and updating of software’s.
I appreciate the sincerity, cooperation and good will of our committed custodians and good will of our committed custodians for spending the entire summer by keeping education facilities clean and organized.
And our much appreciated PTA is gearing up to welcome families, provide volunteer opportunities and offer other exciting events and programs.
I proudly cherish the abundant love and cooperation showered upon us by the parent community.
I’m highly indebted to the CMC Congregation, esteemed Provincials and Councils, Rev. Fathers and Sisters for their valuable suggestions and moral support.
Let us continue with our ‘Mission and Vision’ aimed towards strengthening the citadel of knowledge, empowering and equipping students to face life impelled by their free will and intelligence. Happy events bring happy memories. Let us put our heart and soul to enable our children to accelerate the pace of progress to meet the challenges of the New Academic Year with God as the centre of gravity. Once again, I am delighted to welcome our New Manager Rev. Sr. Shalini, staff and students to this child friendly institution.
With Best wishes and Prayers
